Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cuyahoga Valley encompasses the area along the Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron. In addition to protecting the rich and varied natural environment, the park contains numerous structures from its agrarian past. Perhaps best known is the Ohio & Erie Canal, built between 1825 and 1832. Today visitors can enjoy hiking and biking along the park's many trails, as well as scenic tours by steam-powered train.
