Sequoia National Park is part of the southern Sierra Nevada mountain range. The park's Giant Forest is home to five of the ten largest trees in the world, including the largest, the General Sherman tree. Eighty-four percent of the park's area is preserved as roadless wilderness, accessible only by foot or horse. Park attractions include Moro Rock, a large granite dome, and Crystal Cave, the only one of Sequoia's 240 caves that is open to the public
