Certificate of Deposit (CD)

Community Bank Certificates of Deposit pay a higher interest rate than a regular savings account or an interest bearing checking account. You can choose from a variety of terms and annual percentage yields. For extra convenience, your CD will renew automatically (including interest paid) at maturity, unless you withdraw the funds at that time.

All of our Certificates of Deposit:

Offer a fixed interest rate.
Have interest paid at maturity.
Require a minimum deposit of only $1,000.
May be used as collateral for a loan (subject to credit approval).
May be retained even after a permanent change of station.

There is a penalty for the early withdrawal of funds from a CD.
