While it’s easy to recognize the sacrifices made by the men and women of the military that serve our country, it’s also easy to overlook the sacrifices their families make. In particular, the children of military families face many challenges, such as extended separations from family members and regular relocations that force them to leave friends and familiar surroundings behind. We take time this month to recognize, and to thank them for, the sacrifices they are called upon to make in service to our country.
