Having your funds directly deposited into your checking or saving account is the fastest and most secure way to insure those funds will be available when you or your family needs them. Make sure that your spouse or whomever you’ve given power of attorney has access to this account.
Have an Emergency Fund? It is important to begin putting aside money for an emergency in advance of deployment should a situation arise while you’re gone that requires immediate funds.
