Enhanced Sign-in Security
Your personal image and phrase, and challenge questions comprise an additional layer of identity verification when signing in to Online Banking. They protect you from identity theft and fraud in two ways:
- You know it's really us - When you see your personal image and phrase, you can be certain you're at the valid Online Banking website at Community Bank and not a fraudulent look-alike site. Only enter your password when you see the personal image and phrase you've selected.
- We know it's really you - We display your personal image and phrase when we recognize you as the true owner of your account. If you don't sign in from a computer you told us to recognize, we'll ask a challenge question.
The 3 parts of our enhanced security sign in are:
A personal image that you choose from a gallery of images.
- Your personal phrase - the unique phrase you create to accompany your personal image.
- Two challenge questions only you know the answers to - we'll ask them if you don't sign in from a computer you told us to recognize.
For more information about how we recognize your computer when you sign in, review the Privacy Policy.
Upgrading to these new security features is quick and easy.
You will be asked to choose from one of several available images as your personal image. Then, you will be asked to enter a personal phrase. Finally, you will be asked to provide the answers to two challenge questions that may be used later to verify your identity. After this quick setup process, each time you sign in to your online account, you will see your personal image and phrase displayed on the sign-in page.
